I don’t know what it is, but NFL players always tend to get themselves in trouble during offseason. Jaguars Dan Skuta, who recently found himself behind bars, after making one of the dumbest mistakes involving his ego.
The 30-year-old linebacker was arrested earlier this month for first-degree misdemeanor battery after getting into an altercation with a woman outside and Orlando bar. According to the police report, Dum Dum was hanging outside of a bar around 2 AM when he approached a woman and tried to flirt with her. He asked her for her number and when she said no, he became angry, and the two of them got into it. One thing led to another, and Skuta pushed the woman’s face with his hand, causing her to hit her head against a glass window.
The woman’s friend found police nearby and reported what had happened. Skuta, who was reported to be under the influence of alcohol with “bloodshot/glassy eyes,” was arrested but released on bond shortly afterwards. He is scheduled to appear in court next month.
The Jaguars have released a statement regarding their player’s arrest, saying, “The Jaguars are aware of the situation involving linebacker Dan Skuta and are currently gathering more information. The team has been in constant communication with Dan through this process in its entirety. No further comment can be made at this time.”
NFL players focus on more important thing in the offseason rather than being just stupid. Lets us know what you think readers comment below!
