So Anna Hathaway just had a baby a few months ago and because of that has probably been getting tons of flack from the media for “not losing her baby weight fast enough.” According to many actresses it’s one of the pressure from the media is one of the most difficult parts about having kids.
Instead of letting it get to her, though, Hathaway took to Instagram and posted a photo of jeans turned into shorts.
There is no shame in gaining weight during pregnancy (or ever). There is no shame if it takes longer than you think it will to lose the weight (if you want to lose it at all). There is no shame in finally breaking down and making your own jean shorts because last summer's are just too dang short for this summer's thighs. Bodies change. Bodies grow. Bodies shrink. It's all love (don't let anyone tell you otherwise.) Peace xx #noshame #lovewhatyouhavebeengiven
Her caption that went along with the photo was totally inspirational to the Everywoman who is forced to deal with the society’s views of her own body. Instead of letting society get her too far down in the dumps, though, Hathaway fired back at the haters with some major self love. “Bodies change. Bodies grow. Bodies shrink.” In three short sentences, the 33-year-old mother of one let all girls know that you’re naturally beautiful no matter what size you are and to be proud of that. Thank you Princess Mia!
