Now he’s just showing out! WE understand it’s his birthday tomorrow but really this man is working
Minutes after announcing his More Life project, Drake hit us with the Sunday special and released 4 newbies during an episode of OVOSOUND RADIO.
Rap-up tells us that Two Birds, One Stone,” the London On Da Track-produced “Sneakin’” featuring 21 Savage, and “Fake Love” (produced by Vinylz and Frank Dukes)—are set to appear on the December release. On “Two Birds,” the 6 God shouts out Lil Wayne (“Free C5“) and takes more shots at Kid Cudi, who blasted him on Twitter. “I like your old shit, but wasn’t in love with the latest,” he raps. “You were the Man on the Moon, now you just go through your phases.”
After researching we wondered what may have inspired the reason for his rapid releases along with the title of “More Life”. More Life could be inspired by his letter after he learned of the death of Alton Sterling. “It’s impossible to ignore that the relationship between black and brown communities and law enforcement remains as strained as it was decades ago. No one begins their life as a hashtag. Yet the trend of being reduced to one continues,” he wrote, before signing off his letter with “more life.”
That could be better backed by the single “Fake Love”. Apple music released the singles a few moments ago but they have recently been taken down, hopefully if you didn’t get a chance to sneak a listen you will be soon. No worries however if we can find them again of course we will update you all on the tea because this album is about to be E V E R Y T H I N G!
