Bill O’Reilly Tries To Fact Check Michelle Obama “Slaves that worked there were well-fed and had decent lodgings “

You know unfortunately when it comes to truth and the history behind slavery, white america loves to down play the roles their ancestors had… Michelle Obama gave a great speech at the Democratic National Convention on Monday and she noted that “The story of generations of people who felt the lash of bondage, the shame of servitude, the sting of segregation, but kept on striving and hoping and doing what needed to be done so that today, every morning, I wake up in a house built by slaves.”

Let’s just say white america wasn’t here for that, so much so that Bill O’Reilly had to insert his opinion stating that a lot of non slaves worked on the White House and added insult to injury by saying that the slaves that worked on the house were well fed and had decent lodging!

Here’s Bill O’Reilly’s whole quote:

“Slaves that worked there were well-fed and had decent lodgings provided by the government, which stopped hiring slave labor in 1802 “However, the feds did not forbid subcontractors from using slave labor. So, Michelle Obama is essentially correct in citing slaves as builders of the White House, but there were others working as well.”

This is why I left white people in 2010, my blood pressure has been down, my heart is healthy and I’m happier than ever. I’m telling yall cut mayo from your diet, it’s NOT healthy.
