Charles Barkley is doing something nice for once in his life, he has revealed that he plans to give $1 million to Morehouse College and $1 million to the Wounded Warrior Project.

According to the AJC.com
Barkley, an NBA legend and co-host of TNT’s award-winning studio show “Inside the NBA,” plans to announce the gifts Friday, but he jumped the gun when he appeared on a conference call to promote the American Century Championship’s celebrity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe, Nev.

Barkley made his revelation while talking with Chad Pfeifer, an Iraqi War veteran and amputee who has befriended Barkley while playing in the Lake Tahoe tournament several times.

“Chad, I got an announcement coming out Friday, but I’ll break it to you now. I think we’ve had a conversation about how much I respect and admire what all you soldiers do. So I just got a new contract. And my goal is always to, I try to give a million dollars a year away to charity.

“So I was going to announce Friday, I didn’t know you were going to be on the conference call, but I’ll announce now.”

Barkley also said he will give $1 million to Auburn, where he was a star basketball player in the early 1980s.
