Charles Oakley Charged With Three Counts of Assault After Altercation At Knicks Game

Former New York Knick Charles Oakley got into an altercation with the Knicks owner James Dolan and has been charged with three counts of assault for hitting a security guard..

According to The New York Post Oakley was removed from his seat halfway through the first quarter after being surrounded by guards because of getting into an altercation with owner James Dolan…

NYPD police source told ESPN that Charles Oakley was making comments towards James Dolan and eventually Dolan had security escort him out.

Apparently there’s bad blood between the two, the game stopped briefly as he was being taken away in cuffs and as he gets to the hallway he vents in anger that he didn’t do anything and that Dolan was the one who started the altercation!

Phil Jackson went to try and calm Oakley down, but that didn’t seem to help, it actually pissed him off even more… Charles Oakley has been charged with 3 counts of assault for hitting security guards (misdemeanor) and criminal trespassing, the NYPD says.
