After announcing their divorce a couple of weeks ago, Cynthia and Peter Thomas has sold their East Atlanta home for $669k.
The property, which hit the market in July, is being sold for $699,000. It was built in 2006 and features five bathrooms, four bedrooms a fully finished basement, library and recreation room.
The couple announced their separation in July, but Peter Thomas was blind sided by the divorce papers. “We have discussed divorce,” Thomas said in a statement. “It wasn’t something that I wanted. But it is something that I believe she thinks she needs. And honestly, I wish we could have made the public announcement jointly.”
The couple tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in 2010, which “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” cameras captured. Thomas claims the show wasn’t the only thing to blame for the demise of their marriage.
“While the show is not the single contributing factor to the turmoil in our relationship, ‘RHOA’ had a lot to do with it,” he continued. “Reality TV can be a blessing and a curse, as it provides tremendous opportunities, but it also puts one hell of a strain on a relationship, especially if the foundation is not solid. Our individual ambitions were also part of our relationship’s demise.”
So, I guess we wait and see if Cynthia will appear on The Real Housewives of Atlanta this upcoming season…Or will she be giving up her peach?
