Could this be a fall of a dynasty? Now this has been rumored for close to 3 years now but is this finally taking place? Speculation of “More Life” being the last album Drake will drop under Cash Money records. Hot 97’s Ebro Darden took to twitter (Oct 24) and posted this tweet.

XXL reported that Ebro’s assertion should be taken with a grain of salt though. DJ Folk, an industry veteran who worked at Cash Money Records as a production coordinator, has already refuted Ebro’s claim.“Not entirely true there’s a wrinkle in that what they counted because 2 didn’t count towards that fulfillment under og terms,” DJ Folk wrote in reply to Ebro’s aforementioned tweet.

In a recent interview with Birdman and Angie Martinez, Birdman claims that Drake can “drop” (release himself) from CM YMR whenever he wants too but there is a catch 22. He must have Dwayne Carters signature in addition to Birdman and his brother Ronald Williams which doesn’t seem to be too much impossible. Since Lil Wayne’s pretty much done with Birdman at this point this may be one of the reasons Drake is deciding to go and why Birdman doesnt really care which way the wind blows.

Dj Folk contested further about Ebro’s statement.

Guess we will have to see what happens in December…
