The waiter that was assaulted by Katt Williams back in 2016 is now suing the comedian.
According to the Blast:
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Kevin Oliveira claims he was working at Spondivits Restaurant in Georgia on April 27, 2016. He says his job included greeting potential patrons and arranging for seating.
On the day in question, Oliveira claims Katt Williams came into the restaurant with a few friends. Oliveira says he told Katt and his party that there was a wait and that he would try and get them a table as soon as he could.
But Oliveira claims Katt became upset and, without provocation, intentionally threw a glass salt shaker at him, hitting Oliveira in the face.
Oliveira says he suffered severe injuries and had to be transported by ambulance to a local hospital. He alleges his injuries required ten stitches to treat a large gash to his lip and mouth.
The suit is seeking unspecified damages for medical expenses, impairment of earning capacity and past and future lost earnings.
