NELLY’S “COUNTRY GRAMMAR” ALBUM HAS GONE CERTIFIED DIAMOND

You mean to tell me years later, people are still bumping “Country Grammar” and buying it?

The Recording Industry Association of America awarded the St. Louis rapper a diamond certification for his debut album Country Grammar, which produced a series of hits, including “Ride Wit Me ” and “E.I.” The 2000 album’s level of honor a major deal because it is only the eighth hip-hop LP to receive such title following behind albums like Tupac’s All Eyez On Me, and Eminem’s The Marshall Mathers LP and The Eminem Show according to Rap-up.

The diamond certification is presented after a song or album receives more than 10 million U.S. sales and streams. Excellent job for the STL rapper and we can tell by his IG post that he was proud of himself!
