R. Kelly Abuse Documentary Lands Major Distribution Deal With Hulu & Lifetime

A new documentary is on the way and it will shine light on R. Kelly‘s alleged abuse of little girls and adult women. The project has landed a major distribution deal and it’s set to make a major impact.

According to Shadow & Acts

Hulu has ordered a documentary feature from BuzzFeed News that will focus on the R&B singer’s alleged sexual abuse of black women and girls.

The documentary will include reporting by Jim DeRogatis and Marisa Carroll, the BuzzFeed News reporter who broke the story on R. Kelly’s alleged sex cult. The documentary will also feature interviews with prominent figures in Kelly’s past, as well as several survivors of the singer’s alleged abuse. The singer was indicted on multiple accounts of child pornography before being acquitted in 2002.

The project is supported by an ex-girlfriend who recently revealed that she has proof that Kelly was only acquitted because the courts were unable to prove that the girl he was filmed urinating on was a minor.

Troubling, because said ex-girlfriend says she knows exactly who the girl in the video is and exactly how old she was when it was filmed!

Kelly is yet to respond to this development or news that Lifetime is also planning to lift the lid on his actions with two projects it is air in the coming months.

This is what happens when you speak to soon… It’s never to late to tarnish your legacy, click here if you’re wondering what I’m talking about.
