Richard Sherman of the Seattle Hawks opens a Wingstop in West Seattle, Sherman revealed his newest venture on Instagram about a week ago…
According to The Seattle Times:
His partner in store #1 is Greg Southern, who owns other branches of Wingstop as well, some with former Seahawk Sidney Rice. The West Seattle Herald reports that the Seahawks have been Wingstop regulars, and that when Southern met Sherman, Sherman “said he wanted to join the team.”
If you’d like to see Richard Sherman while you eat his wings, he and other Seahawks will be on site for the grand opening gala; the manager relates that the exact date is TBA, but they’re hoping for August 27 or 28 (check Richard Sherman’s Twitter and Instagram for updates). Seahawks mascot Blitz and some of the SeaGals will also be there.
Richard Sherman’s Wingstop (which really should be its official name) is in Westwood Village at 2600 S.W. Barton St., Ste. B8, Seattle; 206-257-5021.
