Yessss, Phil Collins is getting very candid and shady in new book about former Beatles front man Paul MaCarthy! There were apparently rumors of a feud between the two on the set of Homeland…
Phil spoke to the UK’s Sunday Times (via NY Daily News) about his soon-to-be released autobiography, Not Dead Yet. One of the stories inside is about the time Phil met Sir Paul in 2002 at Buckingham Palace. Read what he stated below:
Phil claims Paul and his then-wife Heather Millsapproached him and that’s when he decided to ask for an autograph. Paul replied:
“Oh Heather, our little Phil’s a bit of a Beatles fan.“
Calling Phil “little” could have been a subtle crack about Phil’s height (he’s 5’5), or age (he’s 9 years younger than Paul), or Paul was just being a shady-ass bitch. Whichever the reason, Phil wasn’t having it.
“I thought, ‘You fuck, you fuck.’ Never forgot it. He has this thing when he’s talking to you, where he makes you feel (like), ‘I know this must be hard for you because I’m a Beatle. I’m Paul McCartney and it must be very hard for you to actually be holding a conversation with me.”
I don’t care if Paul is a beatle or whatever, he wishes he had as many bops as Phil.
