The Hollywood Reporter’s Roundtable Series begins today. O.J and Made in America’s Ezra Edelman, a non-fiction filmmaker will be on the series discussing the brutal business of the documentary world.
The cable television series include Oscar nominees and top stars heading the discussion about what is actually revealed in a documentary. We get to hear from actors such as Jeff Bridges and Casey Affleck, actresses, producers, directors and writers; all those involved with the makings of great television.
Tune in next week for the Songwriter Roundtable with Pharrell Williams, Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keys, Sting, John Legend and Tori Amos (Audrie and Daisy). This is going to be an informative series similar to A&E’s Director’s Cut. Yay! Natalie Portman will be on the Actress Roundtable dishing all the juice on Jackie.
leThis is looking better than a behind the scenes edition on the -making of a movie or song. Check your local listings for air times. According to Yahoo Movies, The Hollywood Reporter’s Roundtable Series has already won a Webby Award; “awarded by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences for best online film and video in the entertainment category.”
Janice Min, Co-President and Chief Creative Officer of The Hollywood Reporter says, “I’m beyond thrilled for the recognition of our Roundtable series and very grateful for our Webby…”
I just want to appreciate the talent being showcased and the efforts put forth that recognized true minds and creativity, in this era. There could be more awards coming soon, you just never really know what to expect in the entertainment industry. Let’s go! I support the arts indefinitely.
