T.I ALONG WITH FAMILIAR FACES RELEASE A POLITICALLY-CHARGED TUNE ON TIDAL: “BLACK MAN”

After debuting his EP US OR ELSE T.I , along with Meek Mill, Quavo, and Rara, released “Black Man” which is mostly filmed in black and white available on Tidal

Quavo is seen running from from the cops and Rara posing in an imagery similar what Malcolm X would have done. Rap-up let’s us know that the audience can see Meek at a funeral service and then Tip at a Black Lives Matter-inspired rally. As signs go up for justice and freedom, T.I. expresses his frustration with law enforcement.

“Police see I got my hands up,” he raps. “Still wanna kill me, they don’t understand us / They be looking for a reason just to shoot me / And wanna do me how they do us in the movies / Or how they do it out in Baton Rouge / Or Ferguson, or Florida, or Baltimore, they make excuses.”

“Black Man” is the newest single off Us or Else that are leaving most of us wondering what awareness messages his next song releases might entail.
