The Game and Snoop Dogg invite Gang Members Out For Peace Summit…
Snoop and The Game are the most visibly diligent of rappers are both promoting peace in the wake of ongoing violence. Following the police shootings the West Coasters tackled another issue in the scope of gun violence in Los Angeles Sunday.
The Compton native spread the word via Instagram early Sunday inviting gang leaders and members for an open dialogue on effort to increase peace within neighborhoods.
“I want to extend the invitation to all CRIPS, BLOODS, ESE’s & all other gang members, major figures & GANG LEADERS from every hood in our city as well as the surrounding cities to our meeting 11 am this morning,” Game wrote.
Touted as a forum to have “the much-needed conversation amongst ourselves about our influence on the youth in our respective neighborhoods,” Game didn’t shy away from what he called the “sad truth no one wants to face.”
“Before we can get OUR LIVES TO MATTER to anyone else… We have to show that OUR LIVES MATTER to the US,” he wrote.
