A vehicle drove into a high school marching band from Gulf Shores high school in Alabama and 11 students were taken to the hospital where three are in critical condition.
According to KETV.com:
City spokesman Grant Brown said the band had just entered the street when a vehicle in the parade accelerated and hit the members, according to Al.com. The city has canceled the parade.
“Please be patient when leaving due to Emergency traffic needing access to the area,” the Gulf Shores police department posted on Facebook.
The incident comes just days after 28 people were injured when a drunken driver crashed into a crowd at a Louisiana parade.
