Drake presents a short film that showcases his gangsta ways on Please Forgive Me…
via Apple Music. Inspired by his chart-topping album Views, the 23-minute visual was directed by Anthony Mandler and co-stars Popcaan, Fanny Neguesha, Soni Chidiebere, and Kyla Reid.
According to Billboard, the cinematic piece was filmed in a single week in Soweto township in Johannesburg, South Africa, this July, and draws inspiration from movies including Indecent Proposal, The Bourne Identity, and Taken.
Drizzy once again flexes his acting chops in the dramatic, action-packed scenes, which are accompanied by seven songs from Views including “One Dance,” “Controlla,” and “Pop Style,” plus original music by Noah “40” Shebib.

Drake has more to celebrate Released in April, the chart-topping set from the Canadian rapper is the first album to reach an unprecedented 1 billion streams on Apple Music.
To celebrate the major milestone, Apple presented the 6 God with a huge plaque during the San Jose stop on his “Summer Sixteen Tour” over the weekend. Drizzy accepted the award from Apple CEO Tim Cook, Senior Vice President of Internet Software and Services Eddy Cue, and Apple Music’s head of content, Larry Jackson.
“Thank you to everyone,” Drake wrote on Instagram, before providing a close-up of the commemoration piece.
