In my Joseline Hernandez voice, ‘ I CUN NOT’ there is a TV series that will be based on the life of none other than RuPaul and in an interview he revealed some tidbits on what to expect… Even hinting at Willow Smith portraying the mother of all drag queens….
According to NewNowNext.com:
It’s been a few months since we heard any news about the TV series based on RuPaul’s life, but the queen of all queens spilled some details about the project when he was recently interviewed by the New York Post.
This is about my New York life in the ’80s. Interview magazine in those days was my Bible. I grew up in San Diego wanting to be Andy Warhol. No grim storyline about white guys sniffing white powder. It’s the Yellow Brick Road. Wanting to go to six different clubs every night,” Ru explained.
“People are finally catching on to me. But wait, next is a TV movie about me. Not filmed yet. No title yet. Not cast yet. I won’t play me. It’s maybe Willow Smith.”
Adams delivers the news that Smith is a little young—only 16—but that doesn’t stop Ru from approving the casting decision.
“Please. I’m doing this a hundred years. At least she’s a biological female,” he says. “And I don’t need someone bitchy. I’m not. I’m sassy. There’s a kindness in me. I’m really a sweetheart.”
