Big Sean has a message for Nipsey Hussle’s killer…

The Detroit rapper is sharing his thoughts on the senseless murder of his friend. In an Instagram video, Sean reflected on the day Nipsey was killed and how his death could have been avoided through communication.
“It’s something that’s been on my mind really since Nipsey’s funeral, well, actually since he died,” he began.
He then addressed Eric Holder, the man who allegedly shot and killed Nipsey. “To the person who murdered Nipsey, to people like that who take somebody’s life out of impulse or for revenge or whatever the case may be, you’re making a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Obviously, that’s not how you solve them problems.”
He continued, “I don’t know if we know the value of a life for real ’cause when you take somebody’s life, you send back they family, you send a whole lineage back, generations […] When you take somebody’s life, you setting all that back and for what? For something that could have been communicated better.”
In closing, Sean shared some advice from his mother. “My mom always used to say and people always used to say, ‘Communication can save a nation,’” he said. “It didn’t mean shit to me, but now it definitely has a whole new meaning. Facts.”
