Big Sean, Ice Cube, Migos & More Rap With Second Graders to Promote Education!

This is too cute, Big Sean, The Migos, Ice Cube and more are kicking it with second graders, on a brand new collaboration to promote education.

According to Rap Up:

Put together by Ellen Degeneres, the Emcees “Read It” is a remix of the original, which was crafted by Michael Bonner, a North Carolina teacher, and his second grade students.

Popping up in a classroom and on a scooter, Sean Don raps alongside the young MCs. “Reading helps us learn information for school,” he says. “So we can answer questions and we can be cool.”

Migos, Cube, Ty, and Miranda add their flavor to the track, which is a take on O.T. Genasis’ “Push It.”

Last month, Ellen surprised Mr. Bonner’s school with televisions, drones, iPad minis, Beats by Dre headphones, and $25,000. She also launched a GoFundMe page for the school, which has already amassed more than $80,000.

“Teachers should get more attention than I get,” said Ellen. “I’m glad I have a platform to show off people like [Mr. Bonner].”
