Disney will be adding a couple networks to their Sony’s Playstation Vue, no word on when this agreement will begin, but this agreement provides for in and out of home on-demand viewing on multiple devices. Independently owned ABC affiliates can opt-in to provide their live programming to PlayStation users.

According to Deadline.com

“The addition of Disney and ESPN’s primetime programming and live marquee sports to our portfolio ensures subscribers will have access to the most popular network programming on television today,” says PlayStation Vue Head Dwayne Benefield. “We’re also proud to be the first Internet-based pay TV service to offer Disney’s networks with the streaming features that set PlayStation Vue apart from the industry, making TV viewing a more enjoyable experience for the whole household.”

PlayStation Vue is available to those with a PS4 or PS3 console as well as iPads and iPhones. The full line up of channels is available in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas, San Francisco, and Miami although some including Showtime, Fox Soccer Plus, and Machinima are available nationwide on an a la carte basis.
