Tyra Banks is not here for daytime television, just two months after being on air with her new show featuring Chrissy Tiegen called The FABLife the model-turned-mogul has made the decision to scale back her role on the Disney/ABC show in order to focus on her cosmetics line.
A Rep for Eonline Confirms, she will remain an executive producer and appear on the show through the week until December. Tyra says in a statement:
“I will be devoting more time to my new, growing cosmetics company, TYRA Beauty, which is expanding faster than anticipated, as well as overseeing my company’s other entertainment ventures. I will, however, continue to support the growth and success of FABLife and greatly admire my fellow co-hosts and the talented production team behind the show,” Banks added in her statement.
A rep for Banks noted that she maintains her relationship with Disney/ABC, where in addition to FABLife, she will be developing Life-Size 2 for the Disney Channel. She also recently wrapped a guest starring role in an upcoming episode of ABC’s Black-ish.
